This was the very first seal I ever cut. Before we started cutting, our teacher told us to carefully choose the content because the first seal is said to have been blessed by "God’s touch." It does not yet have too much worry or consideration, and therefore especially pure, simple, and innocent. I took from my sentiment as a mother, and chose an ancient script (dated 1,700 BC) to cut "stacking text" by putting two horizontal lines on the bottom left corner to mean many children and grandchildren. |
